TN State Historic Marker Dedication

The William Edmondson Homesite has received recognition by the Tennessee State Historic Commission as a landmark site! A state historic marker has been newly minted and installed at the location of William Edmondson’s home and was dedicated in November 2020. Notable city officials including Nashville’s Mayor John Cooper presented at the ceremony to dedicate the new marker. Other notable speakers included historians and sculptor artists, who talked about the legacy of William Edmondson and the significance of his homesite where he created his sculptural works of art.
